Bauddhik Abhyaas Varg & Ekatrikaran Shakha Report
Auckland Shakhas and Hamilton Shakha Bauddhik Abhyaas Varg
In a first-of-its-kind in HSS Auckland and Hamilton’s recent history, Sunday 15th September saw all 4 Auckland Shakhas and Uday Shakha in Hamilton come together 
for a Bauddhik Abhyaas Varg (Bauddhik Training Course) and an Ekatrikaran (Joint) Shakha.
The Bauddhik Abhyaas Varg saw 40 participants collectively mind-mapping bauddhik topics, delivery methods and planning ideas to help us expand our mind with regards to bauddhik activities we can conduct in our shakhas. 
Together, we all came up with 386 bauddhik topics (in 60 minutes) and 284 different methods (in 40 minutes) of delivery bauddhik information, and this was after having to stop due to time whilst we were in full flow! Another hour or two and these numbers would have doubled. Topics concentrated on Hindu Dharma, Sangh, Current Affairs and Skills Development. Participants left with a mind full of fresh ideas, a renewed sense of bauddhik understanding and, most importantly, the understanding of how to implement high quality bauddhik in their own shakhas.
Following this, the Ekatrikaran Shakha saw 59 swayamsevaks (males) and sevikas (females) of all ages come together from the 4 Auckland Shakhas and the Hamilton Shakha. The atmosphere was jubilant and energetic as all shakhas in Auckland Nagar joined togehter for one big shakha. The energy was matched in all 3 khel ganas (games groups): swayamsevaks, sevikas and a bala shishu gana (younger children) with each gana . Each gana did some warm ups and played high energy khel (games) where the powerful naras could be heard from across the site. It was the perfect opportunity to meet new people from other shakhas and reunite with those we haven’t seen in a while.
Overall, it was an educational, enlightening and exciting Sunday afternoon for all those who attended. Watch this space for future Abhyaas Vargs and Ekatrikaran Shakhas.
